Stopped in at L.J. Peretti's in Boston today
I was in Boston for a training seminar today and made a point to stop in at Peretti's. (In fact i picked my parking garage in advance so I could stop in before heading back to Western Mass.) Again, I am always just amazed to find an old school tobacconist. I inquired after old Mr. Peretti and it seems he just stops in to pick up his 'baccy; he's all retired now.
Anyway I picked up some "Pride of Loch Lomond" and asked for something with burley and latakia - something different. He considered for a moment then presented me with "Blend W" - cube cut burley and latakia. Of course I had to buy it. Haven't tried either one yet, but I'll be looking forward to both. I wish I'd had $1000 bucks in me pocket, there are some NICE pipes in there, to say nothing of the cigars!
