I definitely think it looks like a pete system. Probably a 314 or 312. Neither are a 100% perfect match, but they look damn close.

I think it's funny that people have said he just has a gun. Popeye may be stronger that the goddang hulk, but you put a .45 cartridge in his face and it won't mater how strong he is.
