McClelland Logo?
So I was smoking a bowl of St. James Woods the other night getting ready to review it for the showdown when the logo piqued my curiosity. Does anyone know the story behind the logo? As best as I can tell it's a whale (Cetacea, looks like a humpback or a right whale) jumping under a cloudy moonlit night.

Re: McClelland Logo?
I did find a phone number for them.
I might give them a ring to see if anyone could shed some more light on this.

Re: McClelland Logo?
This was answered on another board so I will paraphrase for those here that are interested.
The owner's father was a Grecian immigrant to America when he was in his late teens. He came over on a freighter and he was seasick, unhappy and wanted to return home. At some point on the voyage, he saw a pod of whales and they were such a site that his attitude changed. He now looked forward to what lay in his future. When they started the company, that is the story that came to mind. The whale to them signifies 'looking forward'. |
