Placed an order from pipesandcigars.com a few days ago. Shipment came in yesterday, and there was a mix up. I received a tin of SG Choc flake instead of Squadron Leader. I wasn't really bothered by this, I figured what they heck I get a new blend to try! Anyways I decided to email pandc and just to let them know there was a little mix up in my order and I wasnt bothered by the mix up. Well, I received an email today stating that a tin of squadron leader was on its way to me and that I could keep the tin of chocolate flake for the trouble!

I must say, I was blown away at this for sure!

Figured I'd let ya brothers know about this. An excellent gesture indeed!

It truly is a great place. I've been to their B&M a few times and everyone there is very helpful. The last time I was there they even gave me an RP edge for free with my tobacco order.

They are fast becoming my go-to retailer for my pipe related stuff. I used to use SmokingPipes exclusively, but with the shipping options at P&C, I have been very pleased with my orders, and both places have awesome customer service.

I had a similar thing. I placed an order and they were out of one of the tins. I called a day later to ask if the order shipped. They apologized and sent me 6 one ounce sample bags of their H&H blends.

I'd love to place an order with them for some of their Scotty's bulk blends...but the shipping to Canada is way too costly. For an 8oz shipment, I'd be looking at $25 shipping. That more than doubles the price for me. Other online retailers have charged me no more than $10 for the same type of shipment.

I'd have to agree with Senator on that one...admittedly, I will probably use pipes and cigars for actual pipes, just because they have such an excellent selection.

They are awesome!! Debbie who does most of the customer service is a really nice woman. I had a mix up on a Peterson pipe that I ordered (got a p-lip instead of a fishtail mouthpiece) and it was cleared up quickly and efficiently.

Yes, I concur. Excellent service, excellent prices, and a large selection of baccy. And good deals on pipes as well, got to catch em weekly or they fly off the shelves.
