VA No. 1 is pretty good, sweet but a young (un-aged) VA and it does nip. Dry it a bit, then after getting a good light - put it down and walk away for an hour. After stoving it smokes delightfully smooth.

MacB's Navy Flake is not (heavily) cased - while on the strong side, it does not bite as much as the vanilla. Its one of my favorites as well, I have several tins stockpiled
