For me: Tolkein-his descriptions in his writing makes you want to pull out your pipe while reading.

J.R.R. Tolkien, C.S. Lewis, and the other Inklings. (I am not sure who in the group besides Lewis and Tolkien smoked pipe.   You can't get much cooler than these guys if you are into literature and academia and such.  Unless you count fictional characters.

I'd love that Pete... I think: I have no idea what a "herf" is... but as long as you're a hot, 22 year old blond woman, I don't think it matters.
I tell you what, if I'm still around in April, I'd love to get together for a smoke and a beer. I have to tell you though that I may be headed out, to Arkansas of all places. Nothing decided yet, but I'll let you know if I'm going to be here. We just had the big triathlon. No offense to your wife at all, but it's kind of unsettling when your small town is taken over by hundreds of people in spandex. Aloha, Justin |
