Got your list this afternoon when you were in the bathroom thinking about Jessica Alba.... well anyway, the list made it.

Wow.

I got a package yesterday and logged in last night to post a message, but I honestly didn't know what to say.

I was kind of overwhelmed because the package contained so many things, and I'm not kidding when I say it really seems like Santa is psychic. I didn't even see THIS post until today, just now.

It's really really a nice package but kind of eerie too because it has what I was going to get for myself as well as some other things that I wanted to get and more cool things I didn't even think of.

The main thing that kind of shocked me was the Pipe Service Set in a nice wooden box, with a very nice adjustable pipe reamer and six other pipe maintenance tools. This is EXACTLY the same thing that I was looking at online and thinking about ordering for myself. It also has a 2 ounce bag of Dunhill 965 and two sealed tins, 2 ounces of G.L. Pease Montgomery (a Virginia blend) and a 2 ounce tin of Mclelland Syrian Super Balkan, all of which I have wanted to try. There is also a 1 pound canvas bag of pistachio nuts, my favorite. A very bright LED keychain flashlight and a Sticky Pad for holding cell phones or other stuff in the car were also in the box, both of which I will find very useful. AND, to top it all off was a gift which alone would have been totally way beyond the call of duty, a really nice Bjarne Viking Classic handmade Danish pipe, straight sandblast finish with a silver metal band. I really like this pipe!

I guess I'm flabbergasted. I just had to log off last night when I got on because I didn't know what to say.

Maybe I'm dense, but I have no idea who this is from. Am I supposed to know?

I'm a little slow getting my gifts to send, and my recipient/kid is going to have to wait a bit longer. Hopefully that's ok.

P.S. I mean it...this is really strange. Everything in the pack is something I need, want, or wanted to try.

I had seriously entertained the idea that my Secret Pipe Santa was somehow able to track my internet activities....but then I thought that was crazy.

Your gift contained so many things that I wanted to try (pipe service tool set, tobacco blends) or things that I really like (the pistachios), and the LED keychain flashlight (that I had been meaning to buy). The sticky pad is a cool item that I didn't know even existed. And, the PIPE! That's so cool!

I'm married, my sister in law is here with her kids and I'm apparently not being helpful enough (hey I fed them their body weight in chocolate on the side) plus it's the holidays so much family time. Can it get any chillier?

I used the pipe service set reamer on a Caminetto (Ascorti/Radice) Business 144 estate pipe that I got on eBay. The pipe is 'broken in' but almost new. It had a very thick cake. I couldn't even get my pinky finger down the bowl all the way. I used the reamer right away after I got your gift, and then I did the salt/alcohol treatment with some brandy I had sitting around. Now the pipe is awesome. It barely had an odor of smoked tobacco when I got it. I guess it's been years since it was smoked. Now the bowl is pretty close to new and smells a little like brandy, not like smoked tobacco.

Your 'psychic' title of the thread really had me guessing. I thought maybe you had talked to an eBay dealer I had questioned in email about the EXACT same pipe tool service set.......that's what really got me wondering. I had emailed this guy a couple of days before your gift showed up.
