I am fairly new to pipes but have read a lot about english blends and they sound like a good fit considering I like strong cigars. I have a couple new pipes on the way and just ordered 50g of frog morton and a couple ounces of penzance. I will break in new of the new pipes with these and hopefully start a new love affair!

The Frog is kidstuff - fast asleep you can fill a pipe and smoke it. It's simple. It isn't bad, either.

The Pez will ask more from you. To reveal its best side you will have to work on it. It isn't rocket science but neither is making a paperclip from scratch.

The Frog is a little light on nic and I don't know about "Pez" but if youre after full flavor you definitely found it, but be warned: a love affair with latakia can leave you as fast as it hits you and at one bowl a month a few pounds can last a long, long time

Dunhill 965 is supposed to be pretty strong. I have to say that I've never gotten much of a nic kick from a pipe no matter the blend or how hard I'm puffing. With a strong cigar I can feel it before the halfway point but I get nothing from my pipe tobacco.

Same here. The only thing I've really felt it in was in C & D After Hours Flake and Bayou Night
