Cigar Smoker recently converted to the pipe

Bought a cob last weekend with an ounce of two local blends:
chocolate thunder
half toasted english

Loved both )

Just order the following from smokingpipes :

Welcome to the pipe world. I once was a cigar smoker, but that didn't last too long. The first time I smoked a pipe I wasn't too impressed, by theh second time I knew I was in trouble and fell bum over noggin down the slope.

Welcome to the Club my friend, it's a wonderful past time and will bring you countless hours of enjoyment over the years.

Don't forget to do a Search ref proper filling of the pipe so it'll light and burn properly and give you a pleasing smoke every time.

Keep it CLEAN and rotate several pipes also for a gentle and dry smoke...

i have quite a bite on my tongue right now - My fist attempt at the frank method.

On the fence if I should pick up a bjarne 42.00 dublin or stick with my cob for the time being..... Must.....Resist......

Are dublins normaly decent sized bowls?

Any Bjarne's you find should be snagged - the maker (Bjarne Neilsen) passed away in Feb and whats out there, is it, no more coming out. I have several Bjarne's and love em all, fantastic workmanship. Besides, more the merrier

I had a Bjarne Dublin and it was a nice size. I recall the inside of the bowl loosely fit my index finger up to the 2nd knuckle.

Sorry I got rid of it now...especially since I never got the money for it...where are you Joe???
