If smoking cigars gives me cancer, so be it. If they dont, something else might, Maraschino cherries, car exhaust, or any number of things known to the state of California to cause cancer. Keep it in moderation and enjoy life. As far as giving table scraps to dogs, I do. My Vet. told me its not that bad if you only give your dog things you would eat. So, when your having steak, give them meat, not just gristle. Dont give them alot of fat, and dont give them anything thats went bad or sour. I have been doing it this way for years. I have a Black lab/pitbull mix that is 13 years old and still acts like a puppy. I also have a 4 year old Pitbull that has hip dyslasia, so I have to watch her weight. They only eat what we eat, their happy and healthy.
