Thompson Cigar for pipes?

Has anybody ever looked at the pipe offering of Thompson? I know they are pretty universally disliked for their cigar offerings. However, their pipe prices don't seem terrible. They are from actual manufacturers that I've heard of, although I can't vouch for So, I was just generally curious if anybody had used or looked at them for their pipes.

I would stay away just based on their customer service. If you don't order from them in a while, they start calling.

you'll get their catalog for at least ten years
(even if you go into witness protection).

I've bought several pipes from them mostly after they go on sale. They're ok but not that great. They'll try to get you join they're tobacco club. Don't do it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They have a very limited selection of tobacco and you have to order a pound a month. The service isn't so hot.
I'd personally would avoid them. I'd go with Frenchy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
