Anyone have experience with Ashton Gold Rush?

Picked up a tin of this today and was wondering if anyone else has tried it. Right out of the tin it smells like raisins, and very moist.

I had a fellow menber send me a sample of Gold Rush. To simply state,I LIKE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was already dried. It pack and lit easily. First impression was a somewhat spicey taste that subsided a bit after lighting and a very delightful real tobacco taste came to the forefront. Very smooth. I notice a bit of nicotine kick about a 6 out of 10 after an intentional relight.A slight bite was detected if puffed to vigorously. All in all the experience was well received. I did mix the Gold Rush with Irish Flake 50/50. Pronounced nicotine kick and a very real full tobacco taste. I DONOT recommend this mix for the novice smoker or on an empty stomach. Best smoked after a large meal with a very old sinle malt or fine brandy. Be seated put your tray in the upright position and fasten your seat belt and enjoy the ride!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think my tin has some age on it as well. The one I grabbed had dust on the top, and the lid was on so tight that I had to use a strap wrench to get it open

But once I dry some out I'll write up a review

also i just use a butter knife or coin to pop those tins open. there is usally a spot were you can slide it in and twist. Let it dry out a little YUMMY

I'll keep that in mind, but this one was a twist on. I've never seen a lid on that tight on anything.
