How do YOU pack your pipe?

I see a lot of emphasis on mooing your pipe. I suppose that is important to a degree. It is my opinion that if you can draw through the pipe then getting it completely lit and proper tamping will get you through just about any bowl with little to no relighting. If you are having trouble keeping it lit chances are you have either not really lit your pipe or you are tamping too little or too late.

I would prefer "charging" in favor of "mooing"; but would settle for "mooing" over "packing."

Mainly it's packing that implies what novices often do - over fill and mash it down way, way too hard. Gotta leave packing to the suitcase people. We are pipe people. We fill - or gracefully recharge. Pack not and thou shalt not be tongue-bitten.

I really don't have a method. I just pack it. Take my bowl fill with enough tobacco, and I'm set.
