Copes Escudo is indeed an all time favorite.
Is Ashton's Black Parrot gone as well?

All the McClelland manufactured Ashton blends are gone. (IMO Old London Pebblecut, Black Parrot and Celebrated Sovereign were classics)

I wasn't crazy about the Sovereign but that's just me. For some reason, I only enjoy about 4 or 5 latakia blends whereas with virginias I can enjoy several times that number. Weird. But I guess I'll just have to smoke my Old London and Black Parrot slowly! I think I have 4 tins of the former and 2 of the latter. Couple that with the demise of Escudo, Dunhill Elizabethan and a few others and I'm hurtin'!

Does McClelland have anything close to Old London in their line? They have an awful lot I haven't tried. I'm back smoking pipes again after about 12 years, and back in the day I think they only had the green and brown labels for the most part.
