Heard from over the fence

My usual smoking spot in the backyard is at a tall table on the back porch - my neighbors could see my face from one window of their house if they really wanted to.

The other day I was sitting out there with my laptop and my pipe going. I heard the husband next door walking through his back yard, say to his wife, "it's probably just regular tobacco".



I guess you can't be under retirement age and smoke a pipe without people thinking you're

You wanna keep 'em guessing? Smoke a Medico Bold Rebel. It's a pretty small briar pipe, but very slender and compact. And the best part... they come painted with psychedelic multicolored splotches on them. Very popular with the "alternative tobacco" crowd!

If you Google "Medico Bold Rebel", the first few sites that pop up are online head shops.

I have been in bars that allow smoking and been told I would have to leave because they thought I was packing something other than tobacco into my Savinelli design series.



Honestly, I can understand the confusion based upon the colorful stem and bowl combo.

I'm thinking I might get his hopes up if I did that.

On a side note, I went into two head shops looking for a pipe lighter. After finding nothing under $75 at the cigar shops, I figured what the heck. I did eventually find one for $20 but didn't have cash on me to buy it. I ended up finding a cheapie pipe lighter at a cigar/pipe shop and got it instead. Felt better having it show up on my credit card statement from a normal shop than the head shop.

What dorks... The smell of marijuana is so incredibly unique - what exactly do they think you are smoking then? Geez, this says more about the modern state of our world than we probably want to admit!

Yes its a modern tragedy that there are still people out there who don't know what pot smells like

These are good points. I chose not to use when I was young and never smelled pot until I started teaching middle school behavior disordered children. Now I smell plenty of pot.

I look at this site while I'm at work, and occasionally I'll pull up a thread with pipes like the one pictured above and think to myself, "Gosh I hope nobody is looking at the screen over my shoulder." I just don't feel like explaining myself...

Great smoker too! They have other shapes. Google the Savinelli Design Series and you'll find them.
