I love acorns.

It looks like the stem comes to a point on one side but not the other. Or maybe it just looks that way in the picture. Either way, beautiful pipe.

i like that too, i read somewhere, don't remember where, that a pipe maker called it a tear drop shank in his description of a pipe.

Interesting. Does the end of the tear drop normally point left, possibly assuming the smoker is right handed? I wonder if its still comfy for left handed weirdos like myself.

I think it's more comfortable if you hold it in left hand. At least I find Savinelli's triangular shanks more comfortable for the thumb than round or oval shanks, this would probably feel the same for left thumb.
