Broken stem

I broke the tenon on the stem of a pipe I have made by Duca Carlo and I was curious if it could be replaced.

I had a similar incident with one of my Savinelli's. I contacted the manufacture and they fix me up with a new stem. Fits fine. Also your local B&M may suggest an source for another stem.

there's also a list of pipe repairmen in one of the stickied threads, they can put a delrin tenon in there for ya fairly inexpensively.

I just had a stem replaced. I sent it to Mark at American Smoking pipe. He did a great job and was very fast at getting it back to me.

If you're feeling adventurous you could buy a blank and make your own replacement stem. While I much prefer vulcanite I have to say Lucite is so easy to sand and refinish to a mirror reflection.

Drilled out and fitted with a delrin tenon would be the way to go.

I couldn't find the list. Can anyone recommend someone and what would be the ballpark cost?
