Anyone carve their own meerschaum?
I found a thread on carving, but seemed most if not all were carving Briar pipes, so I was curious if anyones done much with the carve your own Meer kits?
I keep wanting a nice plain meer, like a smooth apple. I'm just amazed at how pricey the plain ones can be, so I got to thinking maybe one of the kits would be the way to go, just wondering how hard it is to actually work with and if you could come out of it with a quality pipe? Anyone got any experiences to share? |

Re: Anyone carve their own meerschaum?
I haven't carved one yet myself but we do sell quite a few meerschaum carve kits every year. Someone must be carving them LOL...
If you do carve one, we'd love to see pictures of how it turns out! |

I've actually been looking at the kits on your website, along with all the nice pipes you sell. |
