Dr Grabow Cleaning

I took this pipe out of my dad's old pipes today and decided to give it a good cleaning. I got all the old teeth marks out of the stem by using 2000 grit wet sandpaper. I used a magic eraser on the stem after the sandpaper and then used olive oil to shine it up.

For the bowl I used Murphy's Oil Soap 3 times with a firm toothbrush. That left the wood with a rather pale dried out look, so I applied some Dr. Duck's Axwax to the bowl it shined up nicely. I ran a few pipe cleaners soaked in Bombay Sapphire through the stem and mouth piece and will be later smoking a bowl of my dad's old favorite drug store blend Half and Half through it.

That some really nice grain in that Grabow! Enjoy it, as I bet it will smoke that burley like it was MEANT for it.
