Nic buzz w cheaper blends?

I ran out of good baccy, so I ventured out to find some cheap stuff to smoke untill the Uni. Flake arrives. I got a cheap blend thats a VA burly blend of considerable fame here in sweden. First I can tell u it too 4 tries b4 I even found a tobacconist that even had any pipe tobak!

Its a shag cut, and smells of rum, its just a topping cos it dont taste anyting at all to me! It burns fast and readily with few relights tho, only good I can say abou it. A shag cut is practical for a tobacco that u want to smoke w o fuss of drying and such I guess.

However, I noticed I got quite a nic buzz from this!? Maybe they have doctored it like cigarette tobacco, added bleach? Any such experiences with u?

I'd have to assume that's coming from the burley which tends to have the most nicotine. As to it being 'doctored like cigarette tobacco', cigarette tobacco is generally burley, sometimes blended with another variety (ie camels are burley/turkish or others that are.. va/burley). So it's not really that it's cheap, it's just that it's a lot of burley.

From looking at it and reading the label, its a mostly VA blend. However it did not have the slightest trace of VA sweetness. Its been gotten rid of now!
