Oh well, it was a GREAT deal on a nice Christmas present for my smoking buddy! (good thing he doesn't come here heheh)

I knew you were going to buy a pipe when I saw you had posted in this thread. At least it was on sale! Let's see pics of what you got your buddy. I'm cleaning up a couple of estates for my tobacco pal; I didn't think about being nice and getting him something from Frenchy's.

Well I would, but appearently that Frenchy is quick! Already pulled it from his site!

I will post up pics when it comes in how about that? It was a GOOD deal though for sure! My smokin buddy is a bigger guy and I've noticed he always points out the nice big full size bent billiards when browsing through the P&T mags at our local shop. Add to that he smokes ALOT and prefers a big bowl, I just had to do it!

I got him a Savinelli Hercules Brown Blast 606 EX! 6 1/2" long with a 2 1/4" tall bowl! Chamber is just shy of 2" deep with a 1" bore! That oughta hold 'em off for a bit huh? He typically won't buy things like this for himself so I took it upon myself to push him along a little bit! Also throwing in a czech tool, folding pipe stand and probably a tin or two by the time christmas rolls around!

I'm sure you're friend will be stoked, and if he isn't, he deserves to be hit with a pipe. A lead pipe.

By the way Big D, I did see your little Sav nosewarmer: that's a damn smart little pipe. How big is the bowl on it? I have a regular Savinelli Panel, and it's pretty darn big, it looks like they took that and just chopped 2 inches off the shank! Does it smoke well? I haven't ever seen another like it.
