Lay-off's at work, economy is in the toilet, and my car is trying it's best to commit suicide (and a Honda at that). I'm having a DGT'd bowl of GH's Dark Flake right now, courtesy of my good friend Big D KC (thanks pal), and none of it seems that toilety (sp?). I'm glad we all have this excellent pastime and self therapy, and this band of like-minded people and friends to help us through these rough times.

So... thanks all of you Club Stogie dudes, you make my pipe-smoking even more enjoyable, and for that I will ever be grateful. I just can't believe it took me this long to find a home like this: better late than never!

Many a good hours has been spent on this forum contributing and learning. This is culture at work, people passing down knowledge, it comes to younger generations in hopes that they may learn and appreciate this art. It all comes around eventually. The key is being able to hang on for the whole ride.
Got the same stuff happening around my job. Overtime is gone so Christmas gets tight. The kids have plenty under the tree but it has made me realize that the extra time I now get to spend with my family is well worth the OT cash.
Having an 8 month old Napoleon has made me appreciate my pipe smoking time all the more. Each bowl becomes a period of relaxation(sometimes dozing) and introspection, even if they come along few and far between.
