I had an awful day today. First off I have something called a pilonidal cyst which needs operating on and it's been driving me nuts late. Second I had a class at college today which was to be the last class I needed to take to get my B.A in History. When I got there I realized I had signed up for the wrong class, which leaves me desperately trying tomorrow to get into the class I need one day late.

When I got home there was a box on my doorstep and here are it's contents(sorry for the bad picture). I ordered from Frenchy one Butz Choquin pipe. He sent me a ton of extra goodies, and on top of that I've been going nuts buying Stanwells and Comoys in hopes of finding a similar pipe to my dad's old Guildhall. They've all been too big, thansk to Frenchy's detailed descriptions of pipes I got something pretty damn close. I don't have to be at work for another hour and half so thanks to Frenchy I'm enjoying a half bowl of Haunted Bookshop.

Awesome! Congrats on a great pipe! Yep, Frenchy is a prince. I've bought a few pipes from him and I've never been anything less than thrilled with the transaction.

Great looking pipe. And maybe this will help a bit as well. I had a similar cyst removed about 40 years ago. Even then, it was a pretty painless procedure from start to finish. I was in the hospital for a day or two, but I'll bet nowadays they'll send you home even quicker.

Congrats on the pipe. Also good luck with the pilonidal cyst surgery, I have had it twice (multiple problems and infection) and it sucked. Hopefully yours will go better.

I sincerely hope everything goes well for you. I live with chronic pain (of another type) and know what it means not to have relief. I'll be rooting for ya.

Hey all thanks for the responses. First, don't go googling pilonidal cyst. There are some nasty pictures out there. Mine isn't that bad, but I fear it will get to that point, so I'm looking to a surgery at the end of this semester.

NHsmoker, you will know exactly what I mean by saying this thing is a pain in the ass.

It's a bread and butter history course, USA History to 1877. My department chair told me the one I took at a previous college wouldn't count towards my degree, so here I sit with all the 18 year old girls...guess it's not so bad.

Yeah I know what you mean. Mine was very bad (draining through a sinus) and I was out of work for 3 months between the two surgerys.
