Exactly, right now smokers simply pin their ears back and hide under the table - we need to speak up and rant louder than the holier-than-thou anti-tobacco lunatics. We need to lose the "guilt" heaped upon us by these whackos, and fight for our rights (such as they are, lately). Remind your un-friendly elected official that even you, as a smoke belching tobacco imbibing ashtray smelling VOTER do have the power to put HIM/HER out of a job come election day. "... and put that in your pipe and smoke it", would be a good end to the conversation

Extremely good point, but you know what those kids would do....they would miss handle those funds and still need health care, and be back to square one.

I think that we are missing the basic fact here. If you put someone who dose not care about there job, whos dose not have to really worrie about keeping it, then why would we be dumb enough to think that they would care about our kids that need the health care. Have you ever been to the DMV? ....
