Was looking at a tin of Christmas Cheer 2005, where does it tell of the harvest year of the tobacco.
The 2008 was a year of 2000 harvest !

It says it on the little pamphlet that is under the lid. From what I know, they usually use tobacco that has been aged for at least 5 years for every Christmas Cheer blend.
I am 95% sure that the 2005 is made from tobacco from 1997. These two I know for a fact are correct, 2006 is from crops of 1999 and 2007 is from 2001 crops. If you have the opportunity to get any tins of the older years of Christams Cheer for a good price, I would jump all over it. They are only made for that year and when they're gone, they're gone.
