2008 McClelland Christmas Cheer Available
You can buy it at either of these websites:
http://www.smokingpipes.com/tobacco/...oduct_id=39789 or http://www.pipesandcigars.com/mcchch20.html Here's the write up about it on smokingpipes.com: Every year, McClelland makes a limited run Virginia flake. It's always popular-- indeed, even though it's only available for half the year, it's always one of our top five or six tobaccos for a given year. The blend varies slightly from year to year, giving McClelland the flexibility to just make a great tobacco instead of having to worry about consistency of flavor from year to year. So, here it is, this year's Virginia flake achievement from McClelland! That pretty much sums it up. It is available only in limited quantaties each year. I have 2004 - 2007 cellared and have smoked the 2007 and some of the 2005. This is by far one of my favorite Virginia blends. It takes a while to dry out because it is moist and a broken flake cut but when it finally does you are rewarded with a yearly crowning achievement. I beleive that they started doing this around the early 90s sometime. I have been trying to get a tin from each year and have finally found someone who has back to 98 that is willing to sell/trade. If you are new to pipe smoking I would recommend that you try some of this blend. You won't be disappointed.

Ahhh, patience young Jedi. There may be some Christmas Cheer in your package.
The amount of bowls depends on a lot of factors. Size of the pipe, how much you pack, etc. I think that the usual conversion (anyone correct me please if I'm wrong) is about 10 bowls per ounce. One ounce is almost equal to 50 grams so 100 grams would equal somewhere roughly around 20 bowls. Now if you branch that out and say that 20 bowls will last roughly 20 hours then the price conversion is $1.46 per hour. Try and find that price in the world of cigars!!!

I got some and smoked my first bowl last night! It is a bit damp but the flavor is fantastic! Been thinking of getting more before it's sold out.

Depending on the rotation of bowl size, just remember 15-20 smokes per 50 gm tin...not bad for $7-$12. huh??
