Breaking in the Nording....
I thought I'd share a pic of me breaking in the Nording that Fatmandu sent me. Filled it with Peter Stokkebye's Optimum blend. Really enjoyed it and had a great aroma up on the deck. Next time, I'll look for a little more strength in the body of the smoke. This stuff is reallllly mild.
I used the Frank Method of packing after reading on it and watching him pack on utube. I do believe I can consider it a success! I only had 1 relight to the bottom of the bowl! Thanks again for the pipes FJ.

Kool!! Glad you are enjoying it, and obviously did a bang up job w/the Frank method. The edges of that bowl make it a lil more challanging to fill.

Tiring quickly of these tobacco's though. Not enough flavor. I loaded about half a bowl of the Borkum Riff Bourbon. It was OK, but didn't WOW me at all. Really looking forward to my order from PipesandCigars to get here with the GOOD stuff.
