name is Greg, just turned 38, married w/ one 8 yr old son.
i'm a defense contractor that works on ft. leavenworth, ks and travels a helluva lot.

i'm a member of many boards, some of you may have seen my name before on ClubStogie, ICC, CigarWeekly, VCC, HCF, CA, SF, BOTL, BoB, etc, etc, etc.

been smokin pipes since the late 90s after i got out of the Army, aromatics exclusively back then. switched to cigars, jumped head first into the cuban arena, had a nice Aristocrat Plus full, decided to switch back to pipes and sold all my stash and humi... that was mid-05. still smoke cigars from time to time, mainly at herfs.

yes, i know this site was recently sold, that's why i came over here, to check things out - and i had heard about this place before (i think Scott told me about it on the phone).

anyway... i'm pretty much a VA/Per whore, only delving into the orientals/english mixtures once every couple of months (mainly as a reminder that i don't like 'em anymore). i'm also a big fan of the strong lakeland style ropes/twists/flakes from GH&Co. i've got a decent stash in my online cellar, and have around 30 pipes.

i'm not a snob/elitist, just a guy who likes to talk about pipes (and cigars). my typing style may come off like i'm a blunt jerkovv, but i type like a talk and there's no venom in my words (if there is, you'll know).

i don't know how much i'll participate - i was gonna try to hop into your box pass, but i see that's been cancelled since i registered and this post.
