Glad you asked.
You're a man after my own heart Mr Moo! The simple things in life are indeed the greatest of all! A few more...

The soft rumble of my Harley-Davidson beneath me as a motor along a rural mountain highway on a cool sunny morning...

The smell of Hoppe's No.9 after a day's quail hunting...

The wafting aroma of hot coffee from my thermos as I pour a cup...

Sitting beside the fireplace in my big comfy chair with a favorite old pipe...

Reading a good book and enjoying the feel of it's pages...

The smell of fresh-cut wood in the forest...

Michael Savage on the radio...

Yes it's all about the simplest things, they bring the greatest joy.

Music? Not much for music but when I do it's country music. Mostly talk radio though...

Simon and Garfunkel is what I listen to most often. Having a relaxing smoke and listening to them is one of the most enjoyable things I find. There has never been a better duo and there never will be anyone who can compare to the harmony that those two can achieve.

I often smoke pipe and play guitar in the evenings, so I guess I'm listening to my own hands...

I bet if I tried playing my guitar and smoking my pipe that it would not end well. I have a tendency to get REALLY into it when I rock out and my pipe would find a way to bounce out of my mouf.

HA HA
It wasn't the case when I played electric either, but as I only play relaxing music on an acoustic now, pipe is a great companion

Or I like to listen to some George Winston, especially around this time of year.

Re: What do you like to listen to.

I just discovered Patty Griffin. Apparently, she's been around for a while - her song "Heavenly Days" always puts' me in a good, relaxed mood. Couple that song with the rest of her stuff and a pipe and I'm a happy, happy man.
