What do you like to listen to.
What do you like to listen to while you have a pipe? Be specific if you choose.
I've found that any jazz is great. I dont have an extensive collection of jazz, but I really like sitting and disecting the music while I smoke. I like blues too, but it takes a special mood for blues. I forgot to mention, I also like bluegrass or folk too. There's a group called Iron and Wine and they're kinda folky, a good relaxing sound. Re: What do you like to listen to.
Birds singing.
Wind in the treetops. The music of Mrs. Moos voice. The sound of the Zippo snapping shut. The distinct metallic clicks of the handcuff ratchets. ![]() The sweet sweet sound of "Oh Canada" about an hour before the Red Wings whoop up on Montreal. ![]() The clatter of a 12ga. shell racked in a pump Winchester. The distinctive sound of the weapon of choice of our enemies, the AK-47, being fired. The familiar crashing splatter of large watermelons hitting the pavement after dropping from an apartment building rooftop. The sound of coffee being swallowed. ![]() Glad you asked. ![]()

Re: What do you like to listen to.
Well... I am growing more and more fond of Queen. Particularly the "Night at the Opera" album. A wonderfully talented band. Let's forget about the singers propensities. The song "Good Company" - sung by Brian May - actually mentions pipe smoking!!! Twice!
"Take good care of what you've got, my father said to me. As he puffed his pipe and Baby B. he dangled on his knee." "Now I'm old, I puff my pipe. But there is no one there to see." Frank |

Re: What do you like to listen to.
For me it varies:
Jazz - Andrew Hill, Miles Davis, Louis Armstrong, Charles Mingus, Bela Fleck and the Flecktones Blues - Black Keys Folk/Bluegrass - Gillian Welsch, Sixteen Horsepower Singer/Songwriter/Alternative - Over The Rhine, Weepies, Jack Henderson Hardcore - Demon Hunter, Flyleaf, Spoken, As I Lay Dying All depends on the mood. -Tyler

Re: What do you like to listen to.
If you have access to a computer while you are smoking, one of the best sites out there for legal free streaming music is Pandora. Type in an artist and it selects music based off of characteristics of the artist you chose. Then you can yay or nay tracks and it will fine tune its selection from there.

Re: What do you like to listen to.
since I only smoke a clay tavern pipe, my preferences are toward irish drinking and rebel music, sea songs, and pirate metal

Re: What do you like to listen to.
I'm a SIRIUS/XM lisener. I have two channels set to classic rock stations. They even had an AC/DC channel for awhile in order to help them promote Black Ice. That was my favorite one to listen to. Everyone knows their common ones, but I appreciated other songs much more, such as Satellite Blues and What you do for money honey.
