What's in your steady tobacco rotation?
I'm curious what all you puffers always have a supply of on hand. What blends are your constant companions? For me:
BULK McClellands #2015 McClellands #5100 Rattray's Hal O' The Wynd Rattray's Red Rapparee Samuel Gawith's Squadron Leader Stokkebye's French Vanilla (2-4 oz, for something different. The rest above are by the pound) TINS Escudo Cornell & Diehl's Exhausted Rooster McClellands Frogmorton On The Town McClellands Navy Cavendish Ashton Old London Pebblecut (to be replaced by McClellands St James Woods) Dunhill 965 (to be replaced by ???) There is a continuous flow of other blends but these are the ones that I intend to keep around. |

Re: What's in your steady tobacco rotation?
For me, the for sure baccys are:
Escudo Penzance Anniversary Kake Some others that I have been smoking a lot of lately and may make it in to my perm. rotation are: Va - Looking for a fav. So far it is between Old Gowrie and Christmas Cheer '08 English - I have been digging Westminster and Maltese Falcon lately. Butternut Burley is always around for when I don't feel like a strong smoke, or when the wife is close by, or when I have a non-smoking friend wanting to puff. Everything else is just colored bubbles. -Tyler

Re: What's in your steady tobacco rotation?
Bulk:
SG St. James Flake Boswell PDT (in case I'm in hostile company) Tin: McConnell Scottish Cake (I'm still experimenting with VAs to see what will be my two staples, thus far I've only tried FVF, but have some HOTW coming my way. Still interested in SG Best Brown Flake, Peterson's Irish Flake, and McConnell's Scottish Flake) I've decided English/Orientals are not for me.

Re: What's in your steady tobacco rotation?
Lot's of good 'un's in there! I wish I had known that there were some brown rope smokers around here. I tried the Black XX and couldn't finish it. Ended up giving it away to someone who also didn't appreciate it.
After half a tin of Davidoff Flake Medallions, I might have to add that one to the list! NICE! |
