Whats the rush. Just enjoy the new things that are happening from different baccy new taste and flavors just take that all in and it will happen. 7 bowls why do want to rush things part of the enjoyment is the change that happens to the pipe the baccy and most of all you as you continue on this journey. So relax and enjoy.

my tip here, is...shake the ash up, cover the bowl with your hand when you do this, it will speed up the process a little.

You might blow back through the pipe on occasion. The smoke will deposit tar on the chamber walls that is needed for cake formation.

It takes alot more than 7 bowls to get a cake going. At about 75-100 bowls you'll probably see a nice cake starting. Just relax and enjoy the smoke. Don't fret over cake or no cake. It just happens over time...

No need to perform any fancy rituals, just clean the pipe after each smoke and put it in the rack til it comes up next in the rotation.

Hmmm... so just relax, smoke, enjoy, and there will be cake. Sounds like a dang good plan to me.
