My list for saturday

Hi there,

Well as I said, i am going to one off the largest pipe/pipetobacco selling stores in germany. As being a pipe smoker for a few months now, I want to try some new tobaccos and buy a new pipe. My eye felt on the savinelli Punto Oro 812 or the Chacom Mont Blanc 127 or the Vauen Oxford. Dunno yet,..anyway,..gonna see and feel them in the store.

B\For tobaccos i want to buy and try the following items

Dunhill Early Morning Pipe
Stanwell classic
Stanwell melange
Erinmore Mixture

Tobaccos I smoked are
Peterson Sunset Breeze ( loved that one, verry tasty !! )
Troost ( hmmm,....dunno,..)
Robert McConnel special London ( Okay, but no powerhouse )
Peterson Irish Whisky ( Nice,...verry nice but still cant find the whiskey in it )

I haven't smoked it yet, but I'd leave out the Stanwell blends...frankly in Germany you can do a lot better.....a lot better....it's like Pipe Heaven.

Well,......what a store pfeife heinrich is,.....I guess they had more than a few thousand pipes too choose,..
What I really wanted was a black polished pipe with meerschaum inlay,...but,........negative.
I choose a fine meerschaum pipe, kinda like art decostyle,.with a black mouthpiece. It is a great smoke !!

Erinmore regular and balkan mixture
Peterson sunset breeze
Pfeife Heinrich No9
pfeife heinrich No 2008 limited edition

The last one I got a sampler off and after smoking it i bought a tin. It is such a good tobacco,..fresh and cool, but full flavoured with hints off citrus in it. It was so great !!!
I guess the erinmore is a bit too mild,..not too much taste there, and the dunhills do cover a lot off latakia don't they ?

Good choice, a meer is a good beginner choice. Erinmore is stronger than you think, but no where near Nightcap. Good that you picked up some house blends too, always good and great value. Really you want to smoke your latakia's in separete pipe...
