I don't know, maybe its me, but after 10 years away from the pipe (during which time I smoked the occasional (and not so occasional) cigar), none of the OTC blends are doing anything for me nicotine-wise.

So far, I've tried Prince Albert, Sir Walter Raleigh Regular, Sir Walter Raleigh Aromatic, Carter Hall, Half & Half, Captain Black (White), Walgreen's Blender's Gold Burley and Black, and CVS Admiral's Choice Cherry Cavendish. ALL WEAK!

Try some Sam Gawith Full VA Flake, if that doesn't work.. try the 1792... if you are still standing... Try some Gawith and Hogarth sliced brown.

For OTC's with a higher nicotine kick, you might try Five Brothers. Not the easiest brand to find in many places (here anyways). Although not generally considered OTC's , plugs, ropes, and twists offer good nicotine jolts.

I'm a cigarette and cigar smoker as well and PA offers a good nic hit for me.

For a cigar smoker, C&D Habana Day Dream, which has cigar leaf, might be a good idea too.
