WHAT Scottish Cake and WHAT Nightcap? The former has not been on anyone's shelves for a very long time and Nightcap is unavailable in the U.S at this time. Nobody else can find them, either. You're not alone.

So far I've never gotten a straight answer on the Scottish Cake - just that the sellers are out of stock. I would expect it to be temporary simply because I haven't heard anything to the contrary and the other McConnell blends seem to be around.

With Dunhill, who knows? I've heard talk about it coming back to the states by this summer, but I can't confirm. Again, I would expect it to be temporary. Dunhill is a respected name and I can't imagine that an importer would shut the U.S off unless there's some sort of politicking going on... which usually means someone is fighting over money.

By the way, I saw by the map that you're from St Cloud, MN. Your pipe and tobacco knowledge and calm, respectable nature are therefore superseded only by your bravery! I grew up in MN but quite a bit further south (Winona) and I was STILL too cold and buried in snow!

Depends on who you ask. There are rumors that there will be a new U.S. distributor soon, but there is no verified public information regarding the matter. I wouldn't hold your breath.

It's still available in Europe (parts of it at least). If you don't mind paying the shipping you might be able to buy it from a European tobacconist. Or maybe work out a trade with a European forum member.

It hasn't been too long. I ordered a few tins of Scottish Cake in late January from pipesandcigars. When I attempted to order more a month later they said it was temporarily out of stock. But there was some on the shelves in '09. I'm guessing it'll be back soon enough, since none of the other McConnell blends are disappearing.

You suck!

And what you're sucking is, quite obviously, Scottish Cake!

You musta stocked up when it was plentiful, no? I've looked just about everywhere for it. If you have a current source, come clean and share!!!!

Yeah, those 100 gram tins are cool!
