Alright, I rehydrated it with the safe fix. Took about two days, but it's now at a pretty good moisture level
Oh, yeah. My tin seems to have rust or dried tobacco stuck to it. Also, small holes formed in the paper. I don't think the tin was air tight. I don't remember hearing that sound when you open a new tin. |

I've opened several tins with rust in them, most were SG's. I suggest transferring to a new tin or better still a small mason (or other) type jar.
