Tin of Sam Gawith Full Virginian Flake

Hi all, Im fairly new here and have already posted in the new fish thread. I just recently bought and tried some SG FVF and I get a headache almost immediately after a couple of puffs. Its exactly the same headache I get when I smoke aromatics.

For some reason every aromatic I try, after a couple of puffs I get this headache. SG FVF is not an aromatic, I know its strong in nicotine, but the same headache occurs very rapidly. Most "natural" tobaccos, do not give me these headaches. Currently Im liking Mcclellands Blackwoods flake, and their redcake. I also have an order coming in with a variety of other tobaccos as well, such as anniversary kake, christmas cheer, and some others.

I will never smoke this tin of SG FVF, and there is no one around me that smokes it. If someone would like it, I could send it to you. Its only been openend about 1 week, with a couple of bowls out of it. Just let me know.
Cant do PMs yet either.

Thanks, Mighty

Sorry it was not clear in post. I dont mind paying the few dollars shipping if someone will enjoy it. I wont at this point so it would just sit around.

Your generosity is to be commended; truly in the age-old spirit of tobacco sharing. I've got enough FVF for a while, but I'm sure many among our fellow board members would be candidates for that tin.

Wow, that's really nice of you. I think there's definitely someone else that'd appreciate it more than I would though. They'll be along in under an hour, I'm sure.

That is a great gesture, I have several tins in the celler. Too bad you can't smoke it as it is a great tobacco, although hard to get the hang of packing it at first.
Great opportunity for someone.

Very nice of you, Mighty fella. Too bad FVF isn't your cuppa tea - it really is stellar stuff when smoked slow and slower. But! Old Phatty is the guy who really needs some good stuff like FVF. Here are his credentials:

Tempted to make a purchase, Advice?

Still, you oughta keep a little for later. Just to be sure.

That's what I was thinking; give it a chance.
Especially since it's gonna cost you money to get rid of it.

If things fall through with Hendu I'd like to try it. Let me know and I can always send you a sample or 2 of what I have.
Thanks,

Re: Tin of Sam Gawith Full Virginian Flake

Well at this point Im still not certain why many aromatics and FVF give me an immediate headache. I have tried SG best brown flake and do not get the headache from it. Is it not supposed to be FVF "little brother?"

Anyways, it looks like Hendu was first in line, and then SteveB. Also if someone has any info or thoughts regarding headache thing, feel free to offer them.

Ill keep just a couple of flakes, as that will leave almost the full tin for Hendu or SteveB to try out. Right now Im smoking blackwoods flake, redcake, and anniversary cake without any headaches. As mentioned Best Brown flake doesn't give me them either, nor any natural perique blends ive tried.

Hendu, since I cant do PM's yet, post an email where I can get your address. Read up on the blend and see if its something you might like, and if not Ill try SteveB.

Thanks, Mighty
