Peterson Irish Flake

Hey all,

I'm going to be placing an order next week and was wondering about this flake. I'm a fan of natural tasting tobacco but was wondering if this is kind of like Brracken Flake from SG? Bracken has a topping which is fine but it tends to ghost a pipe rather quickly...took about 3 bowls afterward to get rid of it.

BTW I liked Bracken, I just want to try something new.

Thanks for any input!

Re: Peterson Irish Flake

I picked up a tin of this the other day, because they were out of my favorite "Peterson University flake". I thought I recalled reading good reviews about Irish flake, so I figured I'd give it a try.

I didn't notice the fine print till I got home "recommended for experienced pipe smokers".
Keep in mind I've only been smoking for a year. It was a bit much for my liking. Very strong flavor, but not bad.
I think I'll need to grow into this one, I'll continue enjoying my university flake for now.

Re: Peterson Irish Flake

I gave it a second chance tonight. Still believe its a bit strong for me, but it does have a good flavor.
The Dog doesn't seem to like it though, he wouldn't come near me.

Did you get a chance to try it yet Maboman?
