I placed my order through 4noggins, he said he had a few bags left. I got 8oz each of Penzance, BBF and St James Flake. I think I will start cellaring a portion of each. Any thoughts?

SG St. James Flake is divine! It improves dramatically with age, I'm dipping into a 1 year old tin and it has improved quite a bit already. Longer term storage will no doubt turn it into gold

Correct, but 4noggins.com offers a 2oz sample - other retailers may as well. Of course, it's out of stock virtually everywhere right now. It'll be a few days before I properly jar mine up though, and I'd imagine I'll never miss a few flakes in the long run. PM me.

Although marked up by at least two dollars ($13.50/2oz tin), the Pipe Tobacco Store listed both Escudo and Penzance in its pipe tobacco page, as of yesterday at least. There were no bulk offerings for these two brands. I didn't include either in my order (I have enough for about two weeks - about 10-12 of each), so I don't know if an Out of Stock notice would have pop up had I clicked on the Buy link for P or E.
