wifey had to stop at the hallmark store, so i went along for the ride, lil smoke shop right next store, went in browsing around, didnt really need anything but didnt wanna leave empty handed either..lol

anyway...picked up a pouch of captain black cherry, figured eh what the hell i'll try anything...

gotta say it's not to bad, its pretty dry in the pouch, loaded it into a cob and puffin away. 0 bite, nice n cool, flavorful. pleasantly surprised

I like Captain Black navy every blue moon. I have a cob dedicated just for it! Sure there's better out there, but the stuff's not bad at all if you ask me.

I was puffin on that when I was 16 and thought it was the best stuff in the world. Still like every now and again.

I liked Captain Black, too. It was my first tobacco. Those drugstore blends probably brought in quite a few new pipe smokers to the fold.

Actually, the past two days I've been Smoking CB Royal, and actually enjoyed it.

I had two bowls of it today, while I was entertaining one of my Uncle's who also smokes a pipe. He like Bokum(sp?) Riff though.

The first pouch of CB I got though was Cherry. I didn't get a chance to try it until like a year after I got it and when I first tried it, didn't like it. It was dry as heck.

So long as you enjoy what you are smoking, why not smoke it? Price be damned! I actually enjoy Granger alot;even more so then some of the premium stuff I've tried.
