The one I have are 50 cal they are 12" long 6" wide 7" high never had shells in them. I bought them filled with cigars. I would think you could buy them at any army/navy store. I have tins in a few and sand paper in a few and cigars in a few they come cedar lined from J&R with cigars of course.

Re: How Many Open Tins?

With regards to the 1792, I love strong and diff tasting things plus I have hig nic tolerance from my days smoking cigs. So I have high hopes!

I keep my baccy in a cooler so I am hoping that helps with the moisture in my baccy. Unless a cooler is a bad idea! Oh, not in my cigar cooler!

It is good stuff. I seem to find it burns a bit hot, but that is probably my packing. I may "frank" it and see if that helps.

Re: How Many Open Tins?

And how about some standard electrical tape around the rim of the tin? The 3M stuff seems like two wraps would make a pretty airtight (and easily removed) seal.

I've got about 11 I think... All my bulk tobacco and all the tobacco that came in tins that don't seal well are kept in mason jars. And I've got about 25 different bulk tobaccos in jars that are NOT being aged.
