Talking Best reason I EVER had for a smoke
A little over an hour ago, wife tells me she's got an early anniversary gift (it's our 1 year in 2 weeks) for me. She gets me to close my eyes, she shuffles around, then I open them only to find a "Positive" pregnancy test!

I'm going to be a dad! Holy Crap!

Not five minutes later she has to leave for work, and gives me instruction to not tell anyone. I manage to say "Uh...okay" and then do the only thing I can think of...smoke a pipe. (somewhat ironically I smoked a Brigham blend called "Solitude")

Now I'm sitting here not really allowed to tell anyone. But I figure...hey...you guys couldn't possibly fall into the communication ban, right? And frankly, I'm busting at the seams to tell someone!!!

It's all rather overwhelming. This wasn't exactly in "the plan." Though I'm terribly happy about it. I guess next Father's day I'll be able to start the tradition of the young one picking me out a new pipe. A better tradition than ties, don't ya think?
