Re: Relighting/saving a bowl?
This is one of the great benifits of pipe smoking IMO. I rarley finish a bowl without having to sit it down for whatever reason. Cigars I will not attempt the relight ever again.
Stonehaven is my DGT tobacco. I love to smoke a 1/3 bowl and finish it the next day.

Re: Relighting/saving a bowl?
afilter,
"Anyone ever sit down a bowl and come back to it later?" All the time. I rarely finish a bowl in one sitting. I smoke til it starts to go out and by then am ready for a rest anyways so I set it aside for a while then when I feel like it I come back to it and tamp/re-light. I dont throw any tobacco away, it all gets smoked to the bottom. Maybe just a few flakes left in the bottom is all thats wasted. Sometimes the pipe might sit til the next day or even longer if I get busy. It's still a good smoke - not a problem at all.
