Re: My pipe starter kit :)

I'd get the tobacco in the baggies into some mason jars as soon as possible. It dries out pretty quickly in baggies.

Looks like that should keep you busy for a while.

Locally, I've seen Mason jars at grocery stores in the canning section, and also at Wal-Mart.

Owl Shop Harkness Tower. Then something with a B lol.
I was out of labels and it is kink of tough to write on a baggie using a sharpie.

Harkness Tower is a Balkan Blend. It is a a Balken Sobranie Clone. It is one of my favorite tobaccos.

And it is L.J. Peretti...the are a fantastic B&M in Boston.

Re: My pipe starter kit :)

Thanks Mike!

I just got done smoking Mc Clelland (Virginia) #5100 and it turned out bad. I got tongue bite but not to bad. I was using the layered method. I'm pretty sure I did it right it just would go out right always. I kept re lighting it every 30 seconds or so and it just got hot. I think the tobacco was a little to moist.

That looks great, I need to get myself a starter kit like that! I'm looking at estate pipes on eBay right now but I dunno where to start with tobaccos. What a great BOTL to help you out like that!
