Wrong Pipe

I won a pipe on Ebay earlier this month and when it arrived I thought it looked kind of odd...not really my taste in pipes...I figured I must have been drunk when I bid on it. I was leaving feedback for recent auctions tonight and realized that I never got a pipe I ordered...long story short, he sent me the wrong pipe from one of his other auctions. I emailed him to see what he wants to do about it, I'd really like to get the pipe I won. The pipe I received went for more than the one I was suppose to get, I bet the other guy is wondering what happened too.

I have had that happen to me once. The guy I bought mine from emailed me and explained the mix up. I sent the pipe to the right person and the seller gave me credit for the postage. I got mine in a few days and it all worked out fine. Contact the seller and he should make it right for you

Thank God I don't get drunk anymore. I can't remember how many times I woke up the next day kicking myself for a late nite internet shopping spree

I got a reply from the seller. My pipe is on its way to England. She said she'll contact the other buyer and do what she can to get the pipes in the right places.

I'm not mad, but I feel bad that she's got to put out the postage for a round trip to England and another to Florida.

I had this happen a month or so ago. Bid on and won a Peterson, but when the package arrived it had morphed into a Moretti. To make a long story short, the three people involved (me, the seller, and the other buyer) decided things were just fine as they were, and the Moretti is now my favorite pipe. Plus I still have an excuse to buy a Peterson!
