smoked my first pipe tonight

The pipe and tobacco arrived from smokingpipes.com. My first bowl was GLP Cairo. I was reading good things about it on TR. Well, all I can say is it is quite satisfying, and totally in line with what I was reading. I haven't seen Cairo mentioned in any posts here. Any Cairo lovers out there?

My next bowl was GLP Robusto. It did remind me slightly of a stogie but I can't put my finger on it yet. It was very smooth though, and I enjoyed it as well.

I'm now at the point of ordering other tobaccos and maybe another Savinelli. Thinking about GLP Fillmore, Odyssy and Union Square. Also G&P Bow Legged Bear and Mississippi Mud, cause I wanna try some of this Latakia stuff. The Virginia and Perique aspects are interesting.

I'm so new at this, I probably sound like an idiot.

Fillmore is fantastic and my very favorite. I think you'll like it a lot - just give it an hour's drying time fresh out of the tin. I've heard excellent things about Union Square, but I've yet to try it.

I just started smoking Robusto myself, and it's really growing on me.

Sounds like your off to a great start. This helps me know sort of, what to send you in that newbie sampler.

I've gone to newbie sampler, I've gone to this link and it keeps telling me I can't go here. I've passed the limits on the minimums,, so what gives? Have emailed 'the administrators' and received no response.
