Smoking my cob in Beaver, Utah :)
I'm on a vacation trip and we stopped here in a little town called Beaver, Utah to spend the nite at a hotel. I had a nice relaxing smoke from my MM cob (spool shaped) after a 550 mile day. Tomorrow it's off accross the rest of Utah and then accross Colorado as we head east to our destination in Quincy, Illinois to spend about 10 days.

Jeff, are you riding the bike? If so, keep the rubber side down! I was at the arches not too long ago, beautiful place to ride. If you get a chance, swing through; they're starting to fall - gotta see them before they're gone.

We arrived on Tues last week and been busy getting the house set up after the move. We've had a great week though - lots of family here in Quincy so good to see them all after a number of years. The weather here has been great too - cooler than normal and lower humidity than normal which I'm thankful for. We did have a nice downpour today with a little lightning and thunder also which is something we don't see in San Diego much so I enjoyed that.
I've had some wonderfully pleasant smokes in my cob - the only pipe I brought for the trip cuz had to travel very lightly. No I couldnt ride my bike this trip cuz had to help my mom driver her car from San Diego to Illinois here. Otherwise I'd have loved to ride my Harley - nothing like a big road trip! More later...

Sounds like a visit back on the Road King is in your future...
 I miss my bike terribly; nothing like a Road King...just an 82 Yamaha 650 Maxim. Had to leave it behind during my last (kind of emergency) move. Someday. It's funny; I'm one of those guys who never thought much of motorcycles. Until I got on one! |

Since you're so close, why not tour the Missouri Meerschaum factory? It's just west of St. Louis in Washington, MO
