Recommend butane brand for Colibri CX Gear Ascend lighter?
I'm going to buy a Colibri CX Gear Ascend lighter from eBay. I would like to have the proper butane ready to use when it arrives. Could anyone recommend a butane brand for this lighter? I just don't know what butane to use and what would be best for the 'cleanest' light, since it's going to be my first refillable torch lighter.

You could go with colibri, as I am sure they reccommend it with their lighters. I do use Vecter. it is 5 X refined. Very clean and lights everytime

Didn't Colibri go out of business last year? I had one of their lighters, was real bad, fell apart (plastic parts inside metal case). As for butane, butane is butane, is butane, et al.

Another nod to the Vector. I just finished a can of Colibri and it doesn't come close to the quality of Vector.

Yeah, I used Xikar before and the vector has benn great. and for the price you pay on CI is pretty good the 2 cans you get are pretty big
