I like very much
Here's what I wrote on tobaccoreviews (4 stars):

This flakes are beautifull, large rectangules, as big as the tin. On the tin it comes not very moist, aroma is on the raisins side. Very easy to rub but I prefer it folded or turned into a ball, since it seems to smoke too fast if rubbed.

It's not exactly a mild tobacco in strenght or flavour, but closer to a medium. Smokes really smooth. Dark-gray granular ashes, as stated before.
In the taste department I find it very roasty, warm, like a slightly over-cooked fresh raisins bread. Not much sweetness, nor citrus. Highly recommended for those who like a roasty flavoured virginia, as I do. Perfect for a early smoke or as an all day. (from a tin with the vertical lettering)

And the word is that Medium Navy Flake is even better.

Gustavo, thanks for the review. I've got to get my hands on some Capstan.

I'm coming to that conclusion as well. Maybe I should at least wait until a tin actually dries out on me before I worry about it anyway. So far the biggest problem I have with tins seems to be finding the bottom before I'm ready!

That Capstan looks like it'd be a good smoke. Where does one obtain it? Have checked a couple of on line stores but come up empty.

Unfortunately it is only available overseas, not in the US. I've been on the hunt for some Med Navy Flake but can't find any. Guess I need to make a friend in Europe who will send it to me

I dont have any tins at the moment but I have about 4 different blends from my local Don Juan Cigar Co Im currently cycling through, I bought 2oz of each and they're all locally named after historic local neighboorhoods, my current favorite has light nutty chocolatey type of flavor.

Re: How many tins do you have open right now?

Right now I would say I have between 20-25 different types of tobacco open, if I purchase a blend I have not had before I open it, transfer the contents to mason jars. Their are only a few blends I have that I am cellaring which include Frog Morton Across the Pond and Escudo. Everything else I have is open I like to have a variety of choices available for me to smoke. Now if I happen to find a blend I absolutely love and don't see myself every stop smoking it I will but I few (or 15) tins to stock away.
