Tobacco in Ireland

My wife and I are planning a trip to Ireland for our 5yr anniversary, I was wondering if anyone knows if the tobacco shops would have any tobaccos that I cant get here in the US, but should try? I thought I would post a thread instead of just PMing the Mayor again. Which ones should I keep an eye out for?

Look for St. Bruno (rr and flake), Three Nuns, Condor (3 varieties), and Capstan (medium and golden flake). Those are the drugstore blends not available in the US.

Re: Tobacco in Ireland

Three Nuns is a must. I nearly didn't try this tobacco. An old fella at the same social club as my dad heard I started pipe smoking and offered some to me I passed up it thinking it was some old stodge and that I wouldn't like anything but aromatics.

How foolish

Managed to talk him into it again (me and a bottle of Lambs ) and although I had one bowl it was a very nice change and I hate to use the term neutral benchmark but thats what it is really a fine tobacco in its own right but a middle of the road sort of taste. Something from which to judge others in relation too. At least for me.

Rant over

Off topic I know, but what is that painting in your avatar? My grandfather had the exact painting, but I don't know which it is to be honest.

Lots of people mistake it for a painting, but it's actually a photograph.

The picture (photo) is called 'Grace' by Eric Enstrom. If you like this one, you might also like Greg Olsen's work..
